We are not going to lie, the period is not of any rest…
On the one hand, we have to prepare the departure for Colorado in the approach of the Hardrock Endurance Run: logistics, training program on the spot, search for sponsors and partners, the participative financing on Ulule set up by my team…
And on the other hand, I have to continue the sport preparation and even intensify it with a first objective that arrives with the Euskal Trail in 2 weeks, which will be used to calibrate my level and test my equipment for the rest of the season… So I made some small reconnaissance on the side of Baïgorry these last days… what a pleasure…
But in the middle of all this, this Saturday May 6th was the occasion of a parenthesis, but a sporting parenthesis of course since I went to run on the side of Esquiule on the occasion of the Kantatrail of which I was also the sponsor…
On the sport level, I went without pressure, the 26 km and 1200 D+ of the course not being part of my preparation except for the head… indeed I could run with my friend Christophe and if our time around 2h48 places us in 33rd and 34th position, we could take advantage of it to share a good moment made of exchanges and magnificent landscapes…
Excellent for the head and thus for the continuation of the season…
Once again, this second edition was a superb moment of sport and conviviality as this magnificent village and its inhabitants know how to propose.
